nGimat, LLC today announced it has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification for its Quality Management System (QMS) for the design and production of nanopowders.
ISO 9001:2015 provides the criteria for an effective quality management system as established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). To achieve certification, a rigorous and comprehensive company-wide audit is performed by a recognized certification agency. nGimat’s audit was performed by ABS Quality Evaluations (ABS-QE).
The ISO 9001:2015 standard, as indicated by the ISO, “is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement…. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.”
